I prepared these baked peaches inspired by a Gordon Ramsay’s recipe. I say inspired because I had half of the ingredients at home and so I adapted it, with great results.
Baked peaches with a gourmet taste.
I decided to prepare these baked peaches the day before yesterday, while reading again a Gordon Ramsay’s book (I couldn’t find the name in English – it is called Un Sano Appetito in Italian, “A Healthy Appetite” and he is on the cover holding a bunch of kale).
I had a lot of peaches at home and decided to prepare this recipe but, I had half of the ingredients – and so I adapted it to what I had available at home.
He uses vanilla beans, anise and liquor… and I don’t. Instead I thought about mixing honey with vanilla extract (as I didn’t have the beans) and spread it over the peaches.
I admit I stopped myself from eating all the peaches as soon s I took them from the oven.
I believe these baked peaches are perfect for desert when you have friends at home, maybe with a scoop of ice cream (even if I like them already as they are).
